About The Position

Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is looking for a dedicated Child and Family Community-Based Therapist to join our team full-time. This role provides clinical assessments, crisis intervention, and therapeutic services to children and families in the community - making a real impact every day. $3,000 Sign-On BONUS offered for this position! Requirements

  • Applicant must have a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree.
  • Licensed Professional (or temporary license, if candidate is an MSW in pursuit of licensure). Licensure may include LSW, LCAC, LMFT, LCSW, or comparable license. Eligible for licensure within State of Indiana
  • Must have valid driver's license, auto insurance that meets the Indiana State minimum coverage requirement and qualify for Company's vehicle liability insurance.
  • Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, fingerprinting, CPS check, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and treatment services according to Southwestern policies.
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations and emergency/crisis intervention for children and their families.
  • Provide individual, group, conjoint, and family therapy to youth and their families, either in the home/community or school setting.
  • Maintain appropriate records of services to reflect progress and document treatment plans and goals.
  • Maintain documentation and submit reports according to established time frames.
  • Communicate professionally, make referrals and coordinate services with community agencies.
  • Meet efficiency standards which include chart management, production requirements and patient contact standards.
  • Conduct consultation and education activities to community and professional groups as needed.
  • Maintain contact with other service providers, community agencies, schools and civic organizations to enhance community awareness and public relations.
