Requirements

  • 5+ years of community banking or progressive retail experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibility.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to reach performance goals and deliver superior customer experiences.
  • Skilled in identifying customer needs, promoting financial solutions, and fostering a culture of relationship-based selling.
  • Strong understanding of compliance, risk management, and branch operations.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and core banking systems; embraces digital tools to enhance efficiency and customer engagement.
  • Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs. of currency/coin as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Coach, mentor, and develop your Community Banking team to deliver exceptional service and achieve sales, deposit, and lending goals.
  • Lead by example as a player-coach—setting goals, tracking performance, and ensuring your office meets and exceeds business objectives.
  • Represent ACNB Bank at local events and organizations, strengthening the bank’s presence and cultivating long-term relationships.
  • Resolve customer concerns efficiently and ensure each interaction reflects our standard of Service Excellence.
  • Manage branch operations including vault balancing, compliance, and risk controls with precision and integrity.
  • Partner with internal business lines such as Wealth Management, Treasury Management, Mortgage Lending, and Commercial Lending to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.
