General Purpose The Bank Intern is a seasonal, on-site position designed to provide hands-on exposure to the operations of a community bank. Interns will rotate through multiple departments to learn how banking functions work together to serve customers, support compliance, and maintain financial stability. This role offers practical experience in a professional financial services environment while supporting the banks day-to-day operations. This position is intended for individuals who are continuing their formal education. Internship Eligibility Requirements Applicants must meet the following criteria at the time of hire: Be currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or formal post-secondary educational program and planning to continue enrollment in the next academic semester. Proof of eligibility may be required. Students seeking college credit for the internship are required to provide the necessary paperwork and contact information to support the process. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Interns will rotate through multiple departments, which may include (but is not limited to): Comply with requirements of Signature Banking Retail banking and customer service support Deposit operations and back-office functions Lending support and documentation processes Compliance, risk management, or audit support Administrative and operational support tasks Duties may include: Observing and assisting departmental staff with daily activities Performing entry-level clerical, administrative, or data-related tasks Learning bank systems, workflows, and regulatory concepts Maintaining confidentiality of customer and bank information Providing professional and courteous service to internal and external customers Completing special projects or assignments as needed Regular predictable absences Responsibilities will vary based on department assignment and operational needs. As part of the rotational internship structure, interns will complete at least one rotation as a Signature Banking Representative. This rotation provides foundational exposure to customer interaction, transaction processing, and front-line banking operations that are essential to understanding how a community bank functions. This could include travelling to other branches.

Requirements
