About The Position

This position is responsible for individual and business development activities and strategies that promote core deposit growth by attracting new business and building relationships with new and existing customers. This position is responsible for providing timely and efficient service to the customer while adhering to all bank and regulatory guidelines. This position is responsible for Consumer Lending responsibilities and maintaining borrower relationships.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior enhanced banking experience and extensive knowledge of banking products and services.
  • Prior enhanced new account knowledge/experience.
  • Two or more years of consumer lending or comparable work experience.
  • Experience with computer operating (Windows)
  • MS Office software experience
  • Basic math 10 key skills
  • Exceptional internal and external customer service skills.
  • Demonstrate selling skills and abilities.
  • Attention to
  • Demonstration of excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong organization skills and effective time

Responsibilities

  • Customer Service & Sales
  • Ensure positive interactions with customers and non-customers during all transactions.
  • Recommend appropriate accounts and services by explaining benefits and features.
  • Proactively identify cross-selling opportunities and refer customers to appropriate products or personnel.
  • Actively participate in community events to support the Two Rivers culture.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships to increase retention and satisfaction.
  • Teller Backup & Operational Support
  • Perform teller duties as needed, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Balance cash drawer and maintain proper cash limits when performing teller functions.
  • Complete branch operational tasks such as night drop processing, mail transactions, and ATM balancing.
  • Identify potentially fraudulent activity to help prevent loss to the Bank and customers.
  • Consumer Lending
  • Originate and process consumer loans, ensuring compliance with regulations and bank policies.
  • Negotiate credit items including costs, repayment methods, and collateral requirements.
  • Maintain quality loan portfolios by minimizing past dues, document exceptions, and classified credits.
  • Keep current on regulations and legislation affecting consumer lending.
  • Compliance & Technology
  • Perform all duties in accordance with bank policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Actively use bank technology and resources to maintain accurate customer information and promote digital banking solutions.
  • Ensure a positive interaction with customers and non-customers during all interactions.
  • Responsible for obtaining pre-determined goals for service, sales and operations.
  • Responsible for establishing and updating retail services that meet the customer’s need, resolving complaints and offering resolutions.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with bank policy and procedure and at highest standards of operational excellence.
  • Recommend appropriate accounts and services by explaining unique benefits to the customer in addition to features; as well as other products and services offered by TRFG entities.
  • Identify potentially fraudulent activity to help prevent loss to the Bank and our customers.
  • Actively use bank technology and resources to keep customer information current and inform them of additional ways we can meet their needs. (i.e. online banking, bill pay, etc.)
  • Perform other duties based on branch traffic and needs. (i.e. Teller duties)
  • Actively participate in community events to demonstrate support for the Two Rivers culture.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to increase retention and customer satisfaction.
