About The Position

The Community Associate supports day-to-day leasing and front office operations at Coronado Apartments, contributing to strong occupancy, positive resident experiences, and smooth community operations. This role serves as a first point of contact for prospective residents, current residents, and guests, while supporting leasing, administrative, and customer service functions under the guidance of the Community Manager and Leasing team. Community Associates are expected to deliver professional, responsive service while assisting with leasing activity, resident communication, and overall office operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One (1) year or more of customer service, leasing, hospitality, or office experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-up abilities.
  • Proficiency with computers and basic office software (MS Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle preferred.
  • All new hires are required to successfully complete a criminal background investigation and drug screening prior to employment. Satisfactory references and proof of identity and authorization to work in the United States are also required.

  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective residents via phone, email, and in person to understand housing needs and identify leasing opportunities.
  • Support leasing efforts by assisting with leasing calls, emails, and appointment scheduling based on availability.
  • Greet and assist all incoming guests at the front desk; ensure pre-appointment information is collected as needed.
  • Assist with apartment tours and property presentations as directed, highlighting community features, amenities, and value.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective residents to support leasing activity and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and route inquiries appropriately when not leasing-related.
  • Support office operations, including maintaining clean and organized office and meeting spaces and assisting with supply needs.
  • Update internal systems (including Salesforce/MacForce or other CRM platforms) with accurate prospect, unit, and resident information.
  • Assist with administrative and operational tasks as assigned by the Community Manager.
  • Perform other related duties as required to support community operations.
