Uponor is offering an exciting ten-week summer internship program in our Human Resources department. You will have the opportunity to work hands on with our Community Relations team performing valuable work supporting projects in community relations and external affairs, contributing directly to our strategic goals. During the summer you will connect with leaders throughout the company to learn more about Uponor’s products and services and will participate in a variety of training sessions focused on preparation for your future careers. Areas of Focus Create a suite of materials and templates to be used for community relations and external affairs visits, events, and other needs. Develop process and documentation for relationship management within Salesforce database for community relations and external affairs contacts. Create materials for internal use to promote community relations and volunteer events. Assist with volunteer event planning and implementation for team events. Deliver a demonstration of your findings and recommendations to a leadership panel near the end of your internship Other duties as assigned.

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in: Public Relations, Communications, Business Administration, Political Science, HR, or related fields.
  • Must be an incoming Junior or Senior in a degreed program
  • Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently.
  • Curiosity, coachability and a willingness to engage.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Applicants must be available for this time frame.
  • Event planning experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is a plus.
