The Virginia State Police (VSP) is seeking to hire a Communications Technician Supervisor in our Communications Division at our Administrative Headquarters in North Chesterfield, Virginia. The job duties for this position include but are not limited to: • Supervising daily maintenance and repair shop operations for a variety of electronic equipment including but not limited to; speed enforcement devices, two-way mobile radios, base stations, aircraft and marine radios, portable radios, battery charges, electronic sirens, emergency light control systems, mobile radio interfaces/power cables, electronic test equipment, in-car video systems, body worn cameras, and undercover surveillance components used by VSP for public safety and other law enforcement operations as well as the other state agencies supported on STARS.
