About The Position

We're looking for a Communications Strategist to join the Customer Care Communications team. This role will be responsible for developing innovative strategic recommendations that effectively engage and activate target customer markets on operational communications. Here are some examples of what you'll be doing: Develop internal and external communication strategies for complex operational initiatives Collaborate with business partners to develop strategic communication plans that include, timing, tactics and key messages for multiple audiences (internal, advisor, TPA, plans sponsor, participant) Influence leaders and decision makers to gain strategic commitment Cultivate a deep understanding and application of market research, competitive trends, dynamics and regulations Track, analyze and communicate results Operating at the intersection of financial services and technology, Principal builds financial tools that help our customers live better lives. Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of communications strategy experience preferably with financial services / retirement industry internal audiences
  • A solid understanding of communication or marketing strategy.
  • Experience developing strategic programs that deliver measurable results.
  • The ability to turn data and insights into clear recommendations.
  • Strong critical thinking and the ability to align stakeholders around a unified message.
  • A general understanding of customer journeys, competitive trends, and customer experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Project management experience.
  • Experience with Wrike and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Strong analytical, leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, negotiation, planning, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Be results driven and detail oriented with the ability to manage change in a dynamic environment.
