About The Position

The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) is the world’s largest anti-fraud organization and a global leader in anti-fraud training and certification. In this role, you’ll support our Communications team by managing social media channels, coordinating content initiatives, and ensuring key messaging reaches our audiences. You’ll help execute our social content calendar, create and edit digital content for newsletters and blogs, and assist with ongoing website updates. Working closely with the Content Manager and Communications Director, you’ll contribute to communications projects that strengthen engagement, elevate our brand, and support organizational goals.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in communications, content creation, or social media management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in applying Associated Press Stylebook guidelines.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of social media best practices and publishing platforms, including understanding of current trends across various social channels.
  • Proven skills in organizing work, attending to detail, managing time effectively, and handling multiple tasks in a timely manner.
  • Skilled in collaborating with internal and external resources.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism or related field a plus.
  • Understanding of multi-channel communications strategies and audience segments strongly preferred.
  • Experience using web content management systems (CMS) or publishing tools preferred.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana) and workflows preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees ACFE social media channels daily, including maintaining social calendar and requests, scheduling and posting content, and moderating feeds and messages.
  • Develops social-facing content campaigns, such as Member Spotlights, to elevate the ACFE image and showcase value of membership, certification, et al.
  • Coordinates and builds The Fraud Examiner e-newsletters to enhance subscriber experience and support various business objectives.
  • Maintains ACFE website homepage rotators monthly to highlight key messaging for various audience segments, as well as periodically updates content across the site as needed.
  • Researches, authors, and edits short-form articles for the ACFE Insights and Fraud Conference News blog, including reviewing and editing content submitted by external authors.
  • Edits and reviews various website, event, product and promotional materials as needed.
  • Collaborates cross-departmentally to ensure new research, product or other campaign launches successfully reach target audiences.
  • Closely follows industry trends and developments to inform new content topics or discussion threads.
  • Delivers monthly and quarterly metrics reports around social media and newsletter performance and engagement.
  • Performs other duties as requested or required.
