About The Position

The Communications Principal serves as the PMO for brand and reputation Thought Leadership. This is a senior individual contributor position responsible for end-to-end program management of executive thought leadership initiatives. This individual will own strategy execution, prioritization, and delivery for brand and reputational thought leadership across earned and owned opportunities including media engagements, speaking opportunities, authored content, and external platforms. The role serves as the central orchestrator for executive visibility, ensuring alignment across communications, marketing, investor relations, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience project managing complex, cross-functional initiatives with senior-level stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of earned media, executive visibility, speaking engagements, and owned content ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to influence and lead through collaboration.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage high-stakes workstreams.
  • Executive presence with the ability to operate confidently with senior leaders.
  • Strong judgment, discretion, and comfort navigating ambiguity.
  • Six (6) years directly related experience with an emphasis on communication planning/analysis and with exposure to print and non-print media strategies.
  • Proven ability to study complex data and broad business strategy and convert into practical, creative and effective communication strategies.

  • Ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, organization, creativity, grammar, writing and human relations/relation management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the enterprise thought leadership roadmap for executives.
  • Project manage earned and owned leadership opportunities end-to-end, including media interviews, speaking engagements, bylined content, panels, podcasts, and executive platforms.
  • Translate high-level strategy into clear plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring consistent execution across channels.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to senior leaders, advising on opportunity selection, positioning, sequencing, and readiness.
  • Coordinate closely with executive communications, media relations, content, marketing, investor relations, and agency partners.
  • Manage intake, evaluation, and scheduling of leadership opportunities to ensure focus on high-value, high-impact engagements.
  • Ensure thought leadership efforts reinforce core narratives, positioning, and executive voice.
