About The Position
This position coordinates law enforcement communications for police officers, answers emergency calls for assistance, monitors building alarm system, dispatches police officers and coordinates fire and ems workers as well. This position serves as the point of contact for visitors to the police department and issues temporary parking permits to campus visitors.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal/written communications skills with ability to relate well with a variety of people in difficult/stressful situations.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and make sound independent decisions.
- Ability to use computers, police radios, and other associated office equipment.

- DCJS dispatcher certified
- VCIN Operator Certified
- NCIC Certified
