The JCFPL is seeking a bright, dynamic, outgoing and collaborative individual to coordinate the execution of the functions of, and support, supervise, and lead a Communications & Marketing team of five staff members. With guidance from the Public Information Officer, the Communications & Marketing Supervisor supports the implementation of departmental objectives and is responsible for coordinating their own efforts, as well as the efforts of department staff, in carrying them out. The ideal candidate will have a facility with and enthusiasm for a wide and ever-growing range of communications and marketing principles, methods, and tools; a willingness to learn and grow as the leader of a team with responsibilities as an individual contributor; an energetic approach to serving as a knowledgeable internal resource; courtesy, flexibility and a sense of humor. This role focuses on the execution, coordination, and supervision of communications and marketing initiatives and does not serve as the Library’s primary media spokesperson or records custodian.
