About The Position

Join Intermountain Health’s Marketing and Communications (M&C) team as a Communications Manager dedicated to Mount Saint Vincent (MSV) with a unique opportunity to expand Intermountain and MSV’s presence beyond our care sites into community events and activities across the Intermountain Front Range market. This role blends strategic communications, promotional skills, and community engagement to elevate MSV’s mission while supporting system-wide initiatives. This position is located at Mount St. Vincent Hospital http://intermountainhealthcare.org/locations/intermountain-health-mount-saint-vincent Scope This position is system-wide for the assigned marketing and communications functions, and is not confined to a single Intermountain facility, business, or service line. This position works closely and collaboratively with other marketing and communications professionals within the Intermountain Healthcare system, helping Intermountain achieve its brand objectives and fulfill its Mission, Vision and Values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, English, business or a related college major involving communications skills and critical thinking. Degree must be obtained through an accredited institution. Education is verified.
  • Five years of experience in marketing, communications, media relations, advertising, or public relations.
  • Subject matter expert in the areas of writing, editing, information gathering, social media, presentation, or graphic design/desktop publishing.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement promotional and communication plans aligned with organizational goals, target audiences, and market insights.
  • Project Leadership: Manage complex, matrixed projects from concept through launch, ensuring measurable outcomes and adherence to budget.
  • Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with stakeholders and the community, leveraging event opportunities, and traditional and social media to share impactful stories and educate community members.
  • System-Wide Collaboration & Team Development: Work closely with Intermountain Health M&C professionals and other stakeholders to foster collaboration in support of brand objectives, care site strategic initiatives, and fulfill our Mission, Vision, and Values.
  • Content Creation: In partnership with M & C professionals, deliver trend-forward, multi-channel executions (social, digital, video, internal).
  • Analytics & Optimization: Monitor communication metrics, analyze performance, and adjust strategies for maximum effectiveness.
  • Professionalism & Confidentiality: Inspire trust and maintain a high degree of professionalism in all interactions.
