About The Position

The intern will work closely with members of the Communications and Marketing teams, which are responsible for all external and online communications and media relations for the Clinton Foundation and its programs, including the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI). The Communications team manages the Clinton Foundation’s external media relations and press outreach, and advances the work of the Foundation and its programs through owned and earned communications materials and facilitating interviews. The intern will primarily support the Communications staff in the development and execution of press outreach strategies with a focus on the CGI 2025 Annual Meeting in September; monitoring and curating press clips; researching potential interview opportunities; drafting and editing communications materials (e.g. press releases, Newsroom items); and providing other support as necessary. The Marketing & Digital team manages the Clinton Foundation’s online communications across email, social media, and the website, as well as production of creative assets. The intern will also support the Marketing & Digital staff in planning, developing, and executing social media calendars and assisting the team with brainstorming campaigns. The intern will develop a final project and presentation in collaboration with their manager. The intern must have excellent time management and organizational skills, and display good judgment to ensure the best possible representation of the Foundation publicly. Candidates must be located within commuting distance to New York City. This is a part-time role at 20 hours per week, from 6/2/25 to 10/3/25. Candidates must be able to commit to staffing the entire CGI 2025 Meeting, happening September 24-25, 2025, in Midtown Manhattan.
