About The Position

New Millennium is seeking high school students from the AMP Lab at Fort Wayne Community Schools to support the creation of a corporate safety procedures video and assist with additional communications materials as needed. This internship provides hands on experience in workplace safety messaging, video development, and professional communication while introducing students to a corporate manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Must be a current high school student enrolled in the AMP Lab at Fort Wayne Community Schools
  • Interest in video production, communications, safety, manufacturing, or business
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and in a team environment
  • Basic computer and technology skills
  • Reliable attendance and positive attitude

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, scripting, and organizing a corporate safety procedures video
  • Support video recording, editing, and production activities under staff guidance
  • Translate safety procedures into clear, easy to understand visual and written communication
  • Help develop supporting materials such as presentations, job aids, and internal communications
  • Collaborate with safety, operations, and corporate team members to ensure accuracy of content
  • Organize files, track project progress, and assist with general communications tasks as assigned
  • Maintain professionalism and follow all company safety and confidentiality expectations
