The RTW Institute is a think tank that was founded in 2026 as the policy and advocacy arm of RTW Investments, LP, a biotechnology investment firm. The Institute focuses on two primary areas: protecting the long-term incentives that drive drug innovation and identifying systemic challenges related to healthcare affordability and patient access. Our overarching goal is to translate complex health and regulatory policies into clear insights for policymakers and the public. Through humanized, rigorous research, we aim to support more informed policy discussions and decision-making in healthcare. Program Overview We are seeking highly motivated individuals for a Communications Internship beginning in late June. This unique opportunity is designed for those with a keen interest in the intersection of biomedical innovation, healthcare policy, and strategic communications. Interns will support the development and production of high-quality content, including graphics, animations, videos, and external communications materials, translating complex scientific and policy topics into clear, engaging narratives. These efforts will support the RTW Institute’s content development and contribute to more informed discussions across the biotechnology and health policy landscape. Through this internship, participants will gain hands-on experience in content creation, stakeholder communications, editing and formatting, and synthesizing technical information for diverse audiences.
