The Communications Intern supports the Advancement Marketing and Communications team on content creation, coordination and development of print and digital assets. This creative collaboration advances the mission of the University of Arkansas through engagement and raising private gift support. Team members are committed to a people-centric approach and determined to advance the people, work and impact of the greater whole at the University of Arkansas. The intern will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, faculty, and staff, to ensure consistent and compelling communication that resonates with a broad range of audiences, including alumni, donors, stakeholders and the greater community. The core focus areas will center on writing, content strategy and supporting active communications projects across University Advancement. This position offers an intern significant opportunities to broaden the scope of their academic focus by working directly with an experienced marketing and communications team. Additionally, the intern will build a network of contacts and explore career opportunities in marketing and communications while developing practical job skills. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
