We’re seeking a forward-thinking, results-oriented communications leader who excels at execution and strategic collaboration to help shape the future of surgical robotics and digital surgery business. The Director of Communications, Monarch and Polyphonic will sit out of our Santa Clara, CA office location on a hybrid work schedule. The Director of Communications for Monarch and Polyphonic will serve as a valued counselor to the leadership teams for the MONARCH Platform and the Polyphonic digital ecosystem while also partnering with a cross-functional teams to advance organizational priorities, drive strategy alignment, and achieve brand-level and commercial goals. This role will be required to build a deep understanding of the business, technology development and strategy, and market opportunities that will inform an integrated global communications plan. This will be a highly visible role as you will work in close collaboration with functional colleagues around the world, including Global Strategic Marketing, Brand Marketing, MedTech global communications, Investor Relations, Human Resources, Legal, Johnson & Johnson leadership, and more. This role requires a forward-thinking, strategic leader who challenges the status quo in the dynamic and disruptive fields of surgical robotics, artificial intelligence, and enterprise software. This leader must be comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments with multiple internal and external partners to consider. A successful candidate will also demonstrate strong executive presence and the ability to thoughtfully advise top executives. The position will lead a team of communicators and independently lead project teams of agency professionals on both an ongoing and as needed basis.
