We are seeking a high energy communications professional with a passion for building brands to join an ambitious team that intends to transform the model of marketing communications in the A/E/C industry. The Communications Coordinator is an entry level role that contributes to a variety of marketing communications activities and tasks across the enterprise. It you are an emerging storyteller design thinker and communicator who can engage internal and external clients through written and digital content this is a career opportunity to join a growing and creative team. DLR Group operates within a hybrid work model supporting flexibility between office time and work from home.

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing Communications Journalism English Graphic Design or similar
  • 0-2+ years of experience in a Marketing Brand or Communications department preferably in the AEC or design industry
  • Action-oriented with a knack for managing multiple tasks for multiple interests
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience balancing a variety of demands while staying focused
  • Growth mindset: desire to continually improve processes and outcomes
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite especially InDesign; experience in Microsoft Suite including Teams

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to brand standard compliant deliverables with minimal supervision.
  • Contribute to internal and external marketing communications activity in support of a strategic plan including firm events award programs media relations and marketing asset management.
  • Leverage your creative talents to write copy execute layout assemble presentations and produce materials focused on target audience’s needs.
  • Record project and people information in firm database to ensure institutional knowledge.
  • Develop a deep understanding of DLR Group capabilities and differentiators in designated client verticals.
  • Champion DLR Group as a best-in-class brand by completing comprehensive quality control checks on materials.
