About The Position

The Communications Coordinator, International is a contributor to the team responsible for promoting and protecting Angel’s reputation. This role will support Angel’s communications and theatrical publicity team, playing a key role in international media relations support. The Coordinator will work closely with our international distribution partners and their publicity agencies around the world to arrange media opportunities for filmmakers and talent to promote Angel’s international theatrical releases. Strong coordination with Angel’s domestic theatrical publicity and marketing teams is a must. Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace.
  • Detail-oriented perspective and able to pick up on overlooked details.
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills.
  • Able to maintain the confidentiality of company information.
  • Must be able to manage multiple assignments at once, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions.
  • Resourceful and able to problem-solve and manage tasks.
  • Willing to perform an array of tasks both in and out of the office.
  • Able to integrate feedback on tasks and assignments positively and adapt as necessary.
  • A quick study, able to pick up new skills and learn quickly.
  • Ability to take individual ownership, execute with high energy and integrity, share context, and insist on candor with positive intent.
  • Positive attitude, understanding that Communications is a relationship-driven function.
  • 1-2 years of public relations experience
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or a related field
  • 1-2 years of communications and marketing experience

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate media opportunities to support Angel’s international theatrical releases.
  • Liaise with the company’s international distribution partners and their strategic communications and publicity agencies around the world.
  • Research media opportunities, build and maintain international media lists, and write media fact sheets. Coordinate international media opportunities for film press junkets.
  • Manage and deliver approved theatrical creative assets, partnering with international distributors.
  • Closely coordinate with Angel’s domestic theatrical publicity team as well as International Distribution and Theatrical Marketing.
  • Track department project deliverables and ensure all deadlines are consistently met on time.
  • Attend and contribute to regularly scheduled staff meetings.
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in the English language is required.
