Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Business Management, or Digital Media Marketing
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Professional demeanor with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization

Nice To Haves

Experience with Adobe products
Experience with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint)
Experience with AI

Responsibilities

Assist with researching, developing, writing and editing content for multiple types of communication, both print and digital.
Proofread and edit content produced by the GBTS Department, including communications, presentations, letters, SharePoint, and various FAQs.
Support consistency of messaging across GBTS functions.
Help maintain internal communication calendars and distribution plans.
Ensure communications follow branding, tone, and governance standards
Attend meetings to capture notes, key decisions, and action items.
Support visual storytelling through slide design, infographics, and dashboards.
Help produce podcasts, meeting recording, and training videos.
Contribute to one department-wide project assigned to all GBTS co-ops as a team and prepare a final presentation.
Create and present an individual presentation summarizing the co-op experience
