Assembles recorded video footage into a finished project that matches the district’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting.Ultimately, as a film and video editor, you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story. Writes, edits, designs and coordinates the production of district communications such as newsletters and social media posts. Provides support in planning, scheduling, coordinating and staffing special system and/or media events including Board of Education meetings, district-level outreach and community events, school tours, press conferences, banquets, exhibits, Open Houses and other events. Serves as the District's chief media person and as an intermediary between school administrators/officials and media professionals in order to provide information on district and school initiatives, activities, policies, and operations.
