About The Position

Through our HOPE Christian Schools, EAGLE College Prep schools, Great Hearts Christian Academies, Compass Educational Programs, and the Character Formation Project, we are working to ensure every child has the opportunity to achieve their full potential—academically, personally, and spiritually. We’re seeking a creative and driven Social Media and Marketing Intern to support Open Sky Education’s communications and outreach efforts. This role is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling, design, and engaging diverse audiences through digital platforms. As an intern, you’ll help us build brand awareness, celebrate student success, and connect with families and communities through compelling content. Why Intern with Open Sky Education? Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, journalism, digital media, or a related field.
  • Experience with social media platforms and content management tools (e.g., Canva, Buffer, Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite).
  • Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about serving Christ by serving His kids through the advancement of Christian education
  • Loves following the model of Christ to seek to love and serve others out of gratitude for His love and service to us.
  • Lives and acts as a biblical role model and Open Sky Education representative in your life for our scholars, team members and community.
  • Maturing Christ-follower who sees the fulfillment of this role and our mission as an active expression of their ongoing walk with Christ. (Includes regular participation in a local church and other faith-growing habits and communities to be filled up regularly so he/she is ready to pour themselves into our work, mission, and team. Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and scheduling engaging content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) across our HOPE GHCA, and EAGLE schools.
  • Capture and edit photos and videos from school events, classroom activities, and community outreach efforts.
  • Create “Reels” campaign to support student retention and enrollment.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement opportunities.
  • Support the creation of marketing materials such as flyers, newsletters, and event promotions.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to maintain brand consistency across all platforms.
  • Assist with the management of website and social media platforms across various platforms as directed.
  • Track performance metrics to help improve outreach and engagement.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required
