Requirements

  • Familiar with BICSI, EIA, TIA and NEC Standards
  • Must own your own basic telecom tools and personal protective equipment
  • Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver license.
  • Some positions require a clean DMV record

Responsibilities

  • Performs pulling, routing and terminating CAT-6A, CAT-6 and CAT-5 cables in a commercial environment
  • Performs pulling, routing and terminating fiber cables in a commercial environment
  • Dresses and terminates distribution frames
  • Performs testing cable/troubleshooting
  • Installs support structures (cabinets, ladders, racks, j-hooks, sleeves)
  • Installs electronic fixtures (AP’s, switches, UPS, speakers, horns, projectors, cameras, and other electronics)
