Our current program scope involves the design, development, installation, evaluation, and documentation of large-scale battery systems.

Requirements

  • Requires a BS Degree or higher, preferred Supply Chain Management
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with dynamic daily priorities.
  • Experience innew-productintroduction andscale tomanufacturing.
  • Solid working knowledge of procurementbestpractices, quality systems,processesand procedures.
  • Experience with theinjectionmolded plastics, cast aluminum, machined parts,chemicalsand OEM components used for fluids/flow control.
  • Knowledge of quality systems, supplier evaluation tools (ie, D&B reports, P&L statements, etc.)
  • A strong communicator capable of building relationships at all levels within the organization and a team player.
  • Ability toanticipateneedsof the shop.
  • Possesses good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Demonstrates persistence, good judgment, strong decision making, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, and overcoming obstacles.
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Ability to travelrequiredup to 25%

Responsibilities

  • Work with key stakeholders toinitiate,planand manage sourcing activities across various commodities frominceptionthrough contract execution.
  • Analyze historicalspendto proactivelyidentifysourcing and savings opportunities.
  • Develop and manageRfxactivities to drive measurable savings results.
  • Manage all contract documentation andfacilitatesupplier management activities, including business reviews, supplierscorecardsand ongoing relationship management.
  • Monitor and coordinate supplier metrics.
  • Maintain all controlled document files and test records ina timelyandaccuratemanner.
  • Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action tosupervisor.
  • Alwaysmaintainacceptable5Shousekeeping standards to keep production and work areas clean. Ensuring that all tools, materials, and supplies are returned to their designated locations as soon as the task is finished.
