Commissioned Security Officer - Sherman TX
About The Position
This Security Officer position is an Armed position, you will be monitoring and patrolling a courthouse. The officer will be working a Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm schedule. We have an IMMEDIATE NEED and are looking for individuals to begin quickly. You will be patrolling a courthouse The candidate should have a strong security presence. Must be flexible to cover special events. Pay: $13.75 Experience is required. If you are reliable, and you have great customer service and a security background you are a great fit for this role. Opportunities for overtime when needed The scope of work and required duties are outlined as follows: 1- Provide security presence at the courthouse. 2- Patrol designated areas according to assigned schedule. Observe and report activity while on duty. 3- Visitor and guest access control at business locations. Ensure that all persons are out of courthouse before closing up. 4- Prepare and send hourly and/or daily legible security reports using assigned smart phones and tablets. Schedules will be set schedule each week, with exceptions of special events. Once assigned, security officers are expected to complete the assigned shift. Security officers are expected to be punctual, courteous, professional in appearance, and adhere to the guidelines of the assigned site and chain of command. Requirements
