About The Position

This position is far from your typical retail role, as The Good Feet Store prides itself on fostering life-long careers and wants compassionate people to join them on their mission to change people’s lives Two Feet at a Time. The Good Feet Store is a specialty retail store focused on improving the quality of life of clients by selling Arch Support systems and products tailored to individual needs. You will receive paid training to become certified as an “Arch Support Specialist”, which will allow you to play an impactful role in assessing client needs, educating clients on the benefits of proper arch support, and recommending suitable products. Feet First Partners is a franchisee of The Good Feet Store, a 300+ nationwide store franchise dedicated to helping people live more comfortably and confidently through personalized arch support solutions. Based in Portsmouth, NH, they have stores located in CT, RI, PA, NY, NJ, DE, and FL.

Requirements

  • At least one year of consultative sales experience; commission-based or quota-driven experience
  • Client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering professional, respectful, and solution-oriented consultations
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively
  • Proven success handling and overcoming pricing objections with professionalism and confidence
  • Genuine passion for helping others improve their quality of life
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively engage in and facilitate role-playing scenarios for training, problem-solving, and skill development purposes
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving and surpassing defined sales goals
  • Must be able to work weekends and select holidays
  • Must be comfortable with constant talking, standing, walking, kneeling, assisting clients to remove or put on shoes, bending, reaching, and the ability to assist clients on their walk and balance tests as appropriate
  • Lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ascending or descending ladders or step stools

Responsibilities

  • Conduct personalized consultations to assess client needs and identify appropriate solutions
  • Educate clients on the benefits of proper arch support
  • Recommend tailored product solutions aligned with individual goals and lifestyle needs
  • Guide clients through product fittings and selection to ensure optimal comfort and fit
  • Build long-term client relationships through follow-up communication and exceptional service
  • Support daily store operations, including light inventory management and maintaining store presentation
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales performance goals
