Under the direction of the Sous Chef, the Commis (Prep Cook) is responsible for preparing all culinary dishes in their section, as well as performing basic prep for the Chef de Partie. This person must be very knowledgeable about their specialty, as well as culinary functions in general. The Commis must be very organized, must be comfortable working in a high-pressure environment, and must be able to reliably carry out orders handed down to them by the Sous Chef and Executive Chef. This position is based at our JUSTIN Estate: 11680 Chimney Rock Road, Paso Robles, CA 93446. The position requires a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, and the ability to work evening shifts as needed.
