Job Overview The Commercialization Finance Intern will support Genmab’s commercialization efforts by gaining hands-on experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. This role provides exposure to revenue forecasting, SG&A planning, and performance analytics across global and regional markets. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams on real-world business items and support the development of financial tools and processes.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of financial concepts (e.g., P&L, forecasting, budgeting)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Demonstrated interest in finance, healthcare, or the pharmaceutical industry

Responsibilities

  • Support operating expense planning and tracking, including variance analysis and identification of risks and opportunities
  • Contribute to the preparation of financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership decision-making
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand key business drivers and translate them into financial insights
  • Participate in the development of financial models to support decision making
  • Participate in mentorship sessions and contribute to discussions on financial processes, planning cycles, and best practices
  • Support ad hoc analyses and projects to improve visibility, forecasting accuracy, and decision support
