Job Description Local Driver / Warehouse Associate Looking for a steady, local driving job where you’re home every night? Distribution International is hiring a Commercial Driver / Warehouse Associate to deliver insulation and building materials and assist in the warehouse.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience (10,001–26,000 lb vehicle)
- Acceptable DMV record
- Willingness to assist in warehouse operations
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling
- Prolonged standing and active movement throughout the day
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work both inside a truck cab and outdoors
Responsibilities
- Drive a commercial vehicle on local routes only
- Deliver and unload materials at customer job sites
- Provide excellent customer service — our drivers are the face of our company
- Assist in the warehouse about 35% of the time
