About The Position

Extra Help or Part-Time position with rate of pay $17.50 per hour at Blanchard Springs Caverns State Park in Fifty-Six, AR. Visitor Transportation position is responsible for safely transporting visitors between designated areas at Blanchard Springs Caverns following guided cave tours. This role plays an important part in ensuring a positive visitor experience by providing reliable, courteous, and efficient transportation services. Ensure timely and efficient delivery or pick-up of materials and equipment, adhering to routes and schedules. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure that it is in proper working condition, including checking fluid levels, tires, brakes, and other essential components. Adhere to all traffic laws, speed limits, and road safety regulations while operating state-owned commercial vehicles. Maintain accurate logs and records of hours worked, mileage, vehicle maintenance, and deliveries or pickups, in compliance with state and federal requirements. Ensure compliance with hazardous material handling and transportation guidelines, if applicable to the vehicle or cargo being transported.
