About The Position
Lynch Truck Center has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Commercial Truck Upfit Technician. In this role, you will be provided hands-on training to effectively perform installations, modifications, and upfits on a wide range of commercial vehicles, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of safety, functionality, and aesthetics. Prior experience in welding, electrical work, carpentry, and other hands-on projects is helpful, but we will train the right candidate! Requirements
- Experience with power tools, wiring, and measuring is desired, we will train the right people!
- Attention to detail and the ability to read and follow directions in a fast-paced environment.
- Desire to learn and grow in the position.
- Positive, task-focused mindset and willingness to be a part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Prior fabrication experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Install and customize various components and accessories, including but not limited to: racks, shelving, lighting, decals, toolboxes, and safety equipment.
- Install various bodies such as flat beds, utility bodies, and box trucks.
- Wire in lights and other electric accessories.
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to coordinate workflow and meet project deadlines.
