Key Responsibilities: Our Commercial Truck Technicians keep the transportation industry rolling and safe! Qualified candidates will be safety minded and ready to help customers in their highest time of need. What you will do: Maintain STO's standard of professionalism and customer service Determine truck/trailer condition by inspection, diagnostic testing, and identifying worn, damaged parts Perform preventive maintenance and repair work as necessary and keep up with vehicle inspection reports and maintenance records Ensure compliance with Federal and state vehicle repair requirements Other duties may be assigned as needed

Requirements

  • Consistently maintain 70% Efficiency rating in mechanics
  • Certification from Diesel Mechanic School, or 3 years related experience
  • Must possess own tools including hand tools, impact guns, and other pneumatic tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment, must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
  • Must be able to lift, twist, push/pull, bend, squat, climb, stand, and walk for extended periods of time
  • Must have a valid Driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to drive a commercial pickup truck including F250 or F350

Responsibilities

  • Maintain STO's standard of professionalism and customer service
  • Determine truck/trailer condition by inspection, diagnostic testing, and identifying worn, damaged parts
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repair work as necessary and keep up with vehicle inspection reports and maintenance records
  • Ensure compliance with Federal and state vehicle repair requirements
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed
