GENERAL FUNCTION: Performs business support, analytical and portfolio management related duties for manager(s) and staff. This position acts as a liaison between the LOB leader , the product team, internal partners related to the operational and administrative duties for Commercial transactions; provides project management support, interfacing with internal project managers and other internal partners of a highly responsible and complex nature for Senior Management. Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined.  Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience.  While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying , assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

Requirements

2+ years business support experience; commercial banking experience preferred.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required.
Proficient with technology and ability to learn new applications including commercial loan administration systems.
Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally with concentration in Business, Finance or Accounting.
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Analytical skills, critical thinking and verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assess and prioritize operational tasks to ensure smooth functioning operations support for assigned Line of Business.
Anticipate potential issues, and proactively address them while assisting with the deal activity pipeline for new clients and the existing portfolio.
Supports the Administration and oversight of complex compliance related group initiatives.
Resolves problems of varying complexity.
Research, analyze data, consider alternate options and make timely decisions to address issues to resolve deal-related problems.
Provides project management and administrative support to Senior Management.
Handle administrative duties for the LOB leader.
Assist in the publication of various client and internal presentation materials.
Prepares ad hoc analysis/Reports following the direction of senior management.
Perform special projects as assigned.
May provide vendor management support (including setting up new vendors and processing/following up on invoices to ensure payment).
Serves as a customer service contact for clients and assists in transaction execution as needed.
Work requires a self-starter with attention to detail, flexibility in managing competing priorities and an in-depth understanding of company policies, procedures and operations related to commercial lending or investment banking, commercial loan systems and loan administration.
