Small Business Lending, LLC. is looking to add a Credit Support Specialist, to its team! The Credit Support Specialist will be responsible for calling on delinquent borrowers to resolve overdue payments in accordance with bank policies and applicable regulations. As a representative of the Bank, you will play a critical role in minimizing loan losses while maintaining strong customer relationships and upholding our institution's reputation for integrity and service.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in banking, financial services, or a call center/customer service environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of loan servicing processes and financial regulations is a plus.
  • Bilingual skills (especially Spanish) are a plus.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a point of contact for the delinquent customer.
  • Making daily collection calls for all loans past due 1 - 30 days. Identify problems and inform Workout team promptly. Ensure a minimum of four (4) hours of talk time per day.
  • Schedule delinquent payments (setting up ACH)
  • Monitor loan accounts to identify and resolve delinquencies in a timely manner.
  • Use internal Newtracker system(s) to maintain accurate records of collection efforts, customer interactions, and payment agreements.
  • Provide guidance to customers regarding their loan terms, payment options, and consequences of default.
  • Assist with various company audits as well as other projects that may be assigned by Management.
