About The Position

Buffalo Solar Solutions is hiring a Commercial Solar Inside Sales Representative to support our growing commercial pipeline. This is an in-person role based in Depew, New York and is not a remote or work-from-home position. This role is primarily inside sales, with a qualified pipeline provided from day one. It is designed for someone who sells through education, credibility, and collaboration — not pressure or price. You’ll work directly with CFOs, CEOs, and business owners, helping them understand how commercial solar impacts cash flow, operations, and long-term value. You’ll be supported by a team of engineers, designers, and analysts who provide the technical and financial expertise needed to succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and advance a provided commercial sales pipeline
  • Engage executive-level decision-makers in conversations about: Cash-flow impact and long-term value
  • Risk, incentives, and project structure
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and finance teams to deliver accurate, credible proposals
  • Conduct limited site visits to document electrical infrastructure (meters, transformers, service entrances) and capture photos for system design
  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity and forecasting in the CRM
