About The Position

REP is looking to add to our dynamic team of commercial solar installers. In this position you will be part of an installation crew that ensures the safe, high-quality, and timely installations of commercial solar systems. Construction experience is recommended for this position. If you are seeking employment here is the opportunity.

Requirements

• 3+ years as an experienced installer
• Available Monday through Saturday - 8+ hours per day
• Personal equipment and tools required at all times: Work boots, fitted work jeans with no large holes, tool bag w/ strap, cordless tools & hand tools required to perform the job.
• General understanding of common building materials, tools and techniques
• Complete understanding of solar technology and solar applications
• General understanding of the NEC Article 690
• Proficient with safety equipment, their standards and installation protocols
• Strong work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to think critically and solve problems independently
• Must be able to lift at least 65 lbs.
• Must be able to climb ladders and work on your feet for long periods of time
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must have a valid state driver's license
• Must have a reliable vehicle and cell phone

Nice To Haves

• Construction experience
• Recommended electrical experience but not required
• OSHA 30 for Construction recommended

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install all system components
• Take work related orders and execute as instructed by appointed supervisor.
• Maintain a professional appearance around all REP employees, clients, affiliates, and vendors.
