About The Position

Join Our Team as a Commercial Service Manager! NOTE: commercial tire experience is required Snider Fleet Solutions is one of the largest commercial tire dealers and retread service providers in the nation. We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Service Manager to provide the daily direction and distribution of work orders to technicians and provides oversight of work performed. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills are vital for this role! Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a commercial tire technician required
  • 2+ years of experience assigning commercial service work orders to technicians
  • Proficient in MS Office and the able to learn software (Maddenco, AS400, SAP, BTN, etc.)
  • Valid Driver's License or state(s) equivalent and must be insurable to drive by company standards

Nice To Haves

  • Commercial TIA certification (strongly preferred)
  • Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain following employment)

Responsibilities

  • Receive, create, assign, and monitor all service work orders to technicians
  • Manage productivity of technicians, with a focus on monthly revenue goals
  • Provide ongoing training and skill development opportunities for technicians to enhance performance and stay current with industry standards
  • Step in to assist with work orders and technician tasks as needed
  • Assist branch manager with maintaining up to date employee administrative files
  • Provide sales staff support with service quotes, product look-ups, and any customer concerns
  • Oversee customer scheduled fleet work, scrap tire analysis, and other customer needs
  • Assist with warehouse duties (inventory, load/unload, barcoding, scan billing, etc.)
  • Conduct daily inspection of warehouse, service bays, trucks, and equipment in order to ensure safety, compliance, cleanliness, and organization
  • Ensure proper branch opening and closing procedures are being followed
