Successful candidates should be self motivated, professional and a great team player. The responsibilities of a Service Advisor include greeting customers, listening to their needs, and scheduling appointments as needed. Requirements

  • Previous experience at a Ford dealership, Heavy Truck Shop or in Fleet as a Service Advisor
  • Ability to identify the problem quickly
  • Knowledge of automobiles
  • Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Very energetic personality
  • A desire for a long-term career with a growing organization
  • Personal and professional integrity
  • Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs
  • Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Minimum of 3 years in a service department
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive, friendly attitude
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Teammate with a strong sense of dedication to the customer and service team
  • Good attendance

Nice To Haves

  • CDK experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly
  • Obtain customer and vehicle information
  • Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
  • Determine and recommend maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle
  • Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
  • Establish follow up time
  • Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently
  • Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
  • Explain all completed work and charges to customers
