About The Position

AVODA is seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Roofing Service Sales Representative to drive growth within our service and repair division. This role is responsible for generating new business, responding to service inquiries, performing roof inspections, and developing accurate repair and maintenance proposals for commercial clients. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, excels at building long-term client relationships, and is comfortable working both in the field and in a sales-driven environment. This position works closely with service managers, project managers, and operations teams to ensure high-quality execution and customer satisfaction while meeting or exceeding service sales targets. Travel is required, with potential for expanded travel as business needs evolve.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial roofing sales; repair maintenance; service sales; or similar construction industry sales preferred
  • Working knowledge of flat and/or steep slope roofing systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, metal, coatings, shingles, etc.)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to read roof plans, scopes of work, and inspection reports
  • Comfortable working in the field, including commercial roof access and inspections
  • Valid drivers license and ability to travel

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling service, repair, and maintenance contracts
  • Familiarity with property management and facility maintenance clients
  • Basic estimating and takeoff experience

Responsibilities

  • Generate new service sales through prospecting, referrals,and site walks.
  • Respond to service inquiries including leaks, repairs, maintenance, and emergency calls
  • Perform roof inspections and evaluations to identify repair and service opportunities
  • Develop and present clear, accurate service proposals and pricing
  • Coordinate closely with service managers, project managers, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with clients to close opportunities and secure repeat business
  • Track all sales activity, opportunities, and forecasting.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual service sales targets
  • Represent the company professionally with building owners, property managers, general contractors, and consultants
