About The Position
Commercial Roofing Service Technician/ Helper for Roofing Repairs and Maintenance. We’re expanding our team and are on the lookout for a dedicated Service Technician/ Helper to join our dynamic Service Department. The Role: As a Service Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our Service Foreman and delivering top-notch service to our clients. Your day will be diverse and fast-paced, involving everything from project work and repairs to inspections and troubleshooting. You’ll also have the opportunity to interface directly with customers, driving a company vehicle to various job sites, and assisting in multiple projects daily.
Requirements
- Enjoys working outside and comfortable with heights
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Enjoys talking to customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to travel, when required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in commercial roofing or a related field, a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Service Foreman with various project tasks and repair work.
- Conduct inspections and troubleshoot leaks efficiently.
- Interface with clients professionally, addressing their concerns and providing exceptional service.
- Drive a company vehicle to transport tools, materials, and yourself to job sites.
- Support hands-on project work across multiple projects daily, ensuring high standards and timely completion.
- Learn to read and understand work orders, manufacturer warranties, and project specifications.
- Maintain basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of PPE, fall protection, and other necessary precautions.
- Represent the company and interact with others in an honest, ethical and professional manner at all times
