Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); additionally, any undergraduate education desirable, or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Construction or property inspection experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly examine commercial property inspection reports, including photographs, documents, and relevant data, to assess the condition, risk factors, and compliance with underwriting guidelines.
  • Handle incoming calls from agency partners, inspectors, and insureds promptly. Addressing concerns and providing the requested inspection information and effectively resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Evaluate property risk exposures and identify potential hazards and deficiencies to underwriting and agency partners.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, managers, and team members to insight on commercial property inspections. Address Inquiries, provide clarification, and assist with complex or challenging cases.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by suggesting enhancements to inspection procedures and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing the findings of the inspection reviews, including recommendations for corrective actions or improvements.
  • Additional duties may be assigned.
