Why Work at ColdTech? $36–$45/hr DOE — paid weekly 100% company-paid medical insurance (individual) + affordable family plans Paid drive time between local calls Take-home company truck, fully stocked (recovery machine, vacuum pump, ladders, tools, etc.) 401(k) with strong company match Up to 20 days PTO + paid holidays (based on experience) Life insurance, short & long-term disability Consistent work & long-term contracts — no guessing where your next call is coming from What You’ll Be Working On Service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration rack systems Work on walk-ins, cases, compressors, condensers, controls, and piping Diagnose problems efficiently and fix them right the first time Light HVAC work as needed Some restaurant hot-side equipment (fryers, ovens, etc.) — we’ll train if needed Complete service tickets and document parts/work performed Communicate clearly with customers and help them keep systems running What We’re Looking For 4+ years of hands-on commercial refrigeration service experience - Grocery, big box, or large commercial sites (Costco, Sam’s Club, Walmart, or similar) Experience with small and large refrigeration systems Rack system experience is a must CO2 / Glycol systems, microthermal controls, and EMS programming/start-ups a plus EPA Type II required OSHA 30 preferred (or willing to get it) Able to work independently and manage your own calls Good attitude, solid troubleshooting skills, and pride in your work Valid driver’s license & clean driving record About ColdTech Refrigeration ColdTech services grocery stores, restaurants, hotels, convenience stores, schools, and warehouses across the Intermountain West. Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on commercial refrigeration service experience - Grocery, big box, or large commercial sites (Costco, Sam’s Club, Walmart, or similar)
- Experience with small and large refrigeration systems
- Rack system experience is a must
- EPA Type II required
- Able to work independently and manage your own calls
- Good attitude, solid troubleshooting skills, and pride in your work
- Valid driver’s license & clean driving record
Nice To Haves
