About The Position

Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Manager to oversee a retail-focused portfolio of shopping centers in the Rockledge, FL area. This is a hands-on, high-autonomy role within a stable, well-established organization, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, owner-operated environment. This is an immediate direct hire opportunity for a professional who can step in, take ownership, and manage a retail portfolio with minimal oversight.

Requirements

• 3–7+ years of retail commercial property management experience (shopping centers required)
• Strong experience in lease administration and negotiations
• Ability to manage multiple properties independently
• Strong tenant-facing communication and relationship management skills
• Experience working with budgets, CAM, and vendor coordination
• Proven ability to operate independently with minimal oversight
• Strong understanding of retail property operations (“knows the language”)
• Professional, collaborative, and easy to work with
• Long-term mindset and strong cultural fit

Nice To Haves

• Retail REIT or institutional experience
• Exposure to accounting tools or CAM reconciliations
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
• Spanish bilingual (a plus)

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of multiple retail shopping centers
• Oversee lease administration, renewals, and negotiations
• Maintain strong tenant relationships and handle escalations professionally
• Coordinate vendors, maintenance, and property inspections
• Ensure lease compliance and operational efficiency across the portfolio
• Partner directly with ownership for decision-making and execution
