About The Position

KDAF/CW33 is looking for a promo genius! We need a Commercial Producer who can write, produce, shoot, and edit award-winning commercials, image spots, and sizzle reels for sales. Someone who fits right in with a feisty creative department and still get home in time for dinner. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, a vivid imagination, speak “Adobe Creative Suite” fluently, and be able to use all those tools effectively to stay within our “Always Fun” brand. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, mass communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in media promotions.
• Excellent short-form writing skills are necessary.
• Exceptional post-production editing skills using Adobe Creative Suite are required.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficiency in Mac and PC software including Office 365.

Nice To Haves

• Long-form writing skills are a plus.
• Experience with Wide Orbit Traffic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ability to write, produce, and edit promos, commercials, block spots, etc. for all platforms in all formats.
• Able to execute promotional strategies for on-air, digital, and social media.
• Works closely with all departments to service promotion/production needs as assigned.
