About The Position

The Commercial Plumbing Foreman leads field execution for commercial plumbing work on new construction and renovation projects. You plan and direct daily work, coordinate with other trades and the project team, enforce safety and quality standards, and deliver the install on schedule and per plans/specs. 📍 Working Location: Elizabethtown, PA.

Requirements

  • 5+ years commercial plumbing experience; foreman/lead experience preferred
  • Strong plan/spec reading and code-compliant installation capability
  • Proven crew leadership, communication, and jobsite coordination skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to perform the physical demands of commercial plumbing, including lifting up to 50 lbs, working overhead, climbing ladders/lifts, and working in varied indoor/outdoor site conditions while wearing required PPE.

Nice To Haves

  • Journeyman/Master license (where applicable) or equivalent competency
  • Experience running multi-phase commercial projects (UG, rough-in, trim, final/punch)
  • Mentoring/teaching mindset with apprentices

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily huddles; assign tasks, set expectations, and drive production
  • Coach plumbers/apprentices; enforce professionalism, workmanship, and accountability
  • Coordinate manpower needs with the PM (crew size, skill mix, approved OT)
  • Execute commercial plumbing scopes (as applicable): domestic water, sanitary, storm, gas, fixtures, carriers, roof drains, interceptors, equipment connections
  • Read/interpret plans, specs, submittals, and manufacturer requirements
  • Plan work 1–3 weeks ahead (phasing, inspections, sequencing, access, constraints)
  • Coordinate with other trades and site supervision to keep work flowing
  • Own foreman-level QC: verify installs before inspections; protect finished work
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and mechanical rooms; enforce daily cleanup
  • Enforce company and site safety requirements; stop work for unsafe conditions
  • Forecast and coordinate material needs; reduce waste and emergency runs
  • Use tools/equipment safely; maintain jobsite readiness
  • Provide daily updates on progress, manpower, constraints, and milestones
  • Track time/task allocations accurately (job-cost codes / timesheets as applicable)
