Requirements

  • Journeyman license is required
  • Minimum 7 years of commercial plumbing field experience
  • Strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems and construction processes
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and apply building codes
  • Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Clear communication and strong negotiation skills

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for commercial plumbing projects
  • Review drawings, specifications, bids, and vendor pricing to ensure accuracy and competitiveness
  • Develop, assemble, and present professional proposals and bid packages
  • Collaborate with project managers during preconstruction and throughout project execution
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
  • Generate submittals and support project documentation as needed
  • Track project data, costs, and forecasting trends to support estimating accuracy
