Requirements
- Journeyman license is required
- Minimum 7 years of commercial plumbing field experience
- Strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems and construction processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and apply building codes
- Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Clear communication and strong negotiation skills
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for commercial plumbing projects
- Review drawings, specifications, bids, and vendor pricing to ensure accuracy and competitiveness
- Develop, assemble, and present professional proposals and bid packages
- Collaborate with project managers during preconstruction and throughout project execution
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
- Generate submittals and support project documentation as needed
- Track project data, costs, and forecasting trends to support estimating accuracy
