About The Position

CCS Construction Staffing is actively recruiting skilled Pipe Fitters for a commercial project in North Charleston, SC. The job will involve fitting weld and groove 6" and 8" carbon steel pipe. All applicants must bring their own tools and full PPE and be able to pass a background check. This is not an entry-level role. We're looking for reliable tradesmen who take pride in precision work and can contribute immediately.

Requirements

• 5+ years of pipe fitting experience (carbon steel required)
• Proficient in weld and groove pipe
• Must have own tools and complete PPE
• Strong understanding of jobsite layout and blueprint interpretation
• Reliable transportation to and from jobsite
• Must pass background check prior to start

Responsibilities

• Fit and install 6" and 8" carbon steel piping systems
• Fit groove and weld pipe per job specs
• Cut, prep, and align pipe fittings
• Read and interpret prints and isometric drawings
• Work with mechanical teams on active commercial job sites
• Adhere to all jobsite safety policies and procedures
