Fitch Solutions is currently seeking an Associate Director - Commercial Operations based out of either our New York or London office. About the Team: As the Associate Director, Commercial Operations, you will help lead the design, execution, and optimization of commercial-focused operational processes that enhance organizational effectiveness. This role requires a balance of strategic vision and tactical execution—looking ahead to shape the future roadmap, while driving immediate operational improvements. You will play a critical role in supporting the development, capacity, and execution across the organization, working in close partnership with Commercial, the Business Lines, and key stakeholders including the Chief Commercial Officer, Global Head of Account Management, Global Head of Market Development, Heads of Business, Technology, and CDO teams.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in commercial operations, project/program management, business development, and strategic planning.
  • Knowledgeable of Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities with a desire to continue learning and developing knowledge
  • Strong business acumen with deep understanding of Fixed Income and Capital Markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically while executing tactically to deliver results.
  • Exceptionally organized, analytical, and disciplined, with a strong focus on process optimization and operational excellence.
  • Skilled in cross-functional and global collaboration, effectively aligning diverse teams and business units to achieve shared objectives.

  • Advanced MS Office skills.
  • Ability to make a business case using large data sets and analytics tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and institutionalize core commercial operations frameworks to ensure consistency and efficiency across the organization.
  • Provide hands-on support with day-to-day commercial operation tasks, ensuring timely completion, accurate documentation, and alignment with tasks goals.
  • Design and refine new and existing operational processes in collaboration with the Heads of Business to strengthen execution and scalability.
  • Drive operational excellence by optimizing processes through automation, systematic frameworks, and effective use of technology.
  • Partner with the Chief Commercial Officer, Global Head of Account Management, Global Head of Market Development, Heads of Business, Technology, and CDO teams to implement global structures and processes that drive and enhance revenue performance.
  • Lead or co-lead the execution of operational tasks and ad-hoc projects throughout the year to advance organizational priorities.
