About The Position

The Commercial Marketing Intern supports the Commercial Sales organization by assisting with marketing initiatives, CRM (Salesforce) activities, customer engagement, and program coordination. This internship provides hands-on experience across commercial marketing, sales operations, and customer service while supporting projects that drive lead generation, customer engagement, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Interest in commercial marketing, sales operations, CRM systems, or customer experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Analytical mindset with interest in data, reporting, and process improvement.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (such as Salesforce) or marketing tools is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with data entry, account setup, and maintenance of customer records within Salesforce.
  • Support data quality initiatives by reviewing, updating, and validating customer and prospect information.
  • Help create Salesforce reports, dashboards, and data pulls to support marketing and sales teams.
  • Assist with testing, documentation, and user support related to Salesforce projects and enhancements.
  • Support initiatives involving AI-enabled tools by assisting with testing, data preparation, and feedback collection.
  • Assist in executing commercial marketing campaigns across email, digital, and other marketing channels.
  • Help develop and update marketing content, presentations, communications, and collateral materials.
  • Support lead generation and nurturing efforts by organizing prospect lists and campaign data.
  • Track marketing campaign performance metrics and assist in compiling results for analysis.
  • Assist with onboarding activities for new commercial customers, including account setup and documentation.
  • Support customer inquiries by routing requests and ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Participate in customer interactions to learn communication and service best practices.
  • Help maintain program documentation, process guides, and internal resources.
  • Coordinate tasks, track timelines, and document progress for cross-functional initiatives.
  • Assist in preparing materials for meetings, presentations, and team communications.
  • Contribute ideas to improve workflows, tools, and the overall customer experience.
